There Is A WEIGHT In Every WAIT: I Choose To Wait For You

H Heyerlein

Dear future hubby,

This may seem a little crazy, writing to someone I have never met yet. However, the conviction in my heart is that you are out there somewhere. I always talk to God about you, and I wonder if you also do the same. It may not be easy to keep oneself pure in this ungodly times, but I promise you that I will wait for you.

Honey, I am not saying that I am perfect, neither do I expect you to be perfect. All I need you to know that with Christ as our cornerstone, we are made perfect in our weaknesses. I hope purity means as much to you as it does to me.

Even as I wait for you, I remain content in my singlehood. I choose to serve the Lord, knowing that when the time is right, He will make it happen. I don’t deny that at times I wish I could just settle down with anyone, but deep down in my heart, I know that you are the one for me. The day I will meet you, I will know it was meant to be.

I hope that as you also wait for me, you are building your dreams. There is no limit to what you can be. I just pray that he orders your steps and brings you to me. My better half, my spouse, may I be the rib of your ribs.

Not a day goes by that I do not think about our future, our kids, our family. I strive every day to be better than yesterday. I want to be your Proverbs 31 woman, my love. That is the reason why I cannot let anyone have me. I will wait no matter how long it takes. I believe that my testimony is soon coming.

I hope that you encourage yourself in the Lord because the expectations of the righteous shall not be cut short. May you always look to the heavens for strength, because His word is living and true. He promised that those who wait on Him, he shall renew their strengths like eagles.

Always encourage yourself in Christ, for He is the author and finisher of our faith.

As I pen off, I would just like to tell you to not stop praying and hoping, that one day we shall be together. I pray that he gives you the spirit of discernment, to help you know in the spirit if we are meant to be. I know that you will be a great mentor to our kids, a loving and caring father and a husband I can never replace. You are the one that God kept for me.

I pray that He gives you the strength to endure temptations. I will keep myself pure, knowing that surely, God is not a man that He may lie, His word is living and true and He will fulfill his promises as He said He would. Until we meet, I will remain steadfast in my wait for you.

Your loving wife,
