Single And Unsuccessful In Dating, What Next?

You might think you are the odd one out among your friends since all of them are dating. You try everything to make yourself available for dating, but it doesn’t seem to work. You always seem to be the third wheel. You somehow find yourself walking behind your coupled friends since sidewalks were made for two; the backseat is still your favorite. You might even get a little paranoid and think that you are inexperienced, undesirable or aren’t hot enough. Don’t let that voice get into your head because it isn't true.

1. You are super hot.

You might not like your physique, your height, your hair or even your skin. You might see yourself as unappealing or unattractive. Well, that’s just not the case. The truth is that you are hot. You are unique. You might not like something about your body, but the truth is, you are amazing! You have something special and admirable in you that can’t be taken away.

2. Don’t let inexperience discourage you.

Lack of experience doesn’t mean you aren’t datable. Dating doesn’t require experience. After all, you might find someone to date who isn’t experienced at all. When your right match comes along, the amount of experience that you have won't matter.

3. Your high I.Q is not the issue.

You might have heard that ladies who are too smart intimidate men. This pure BS. In fact, there are many men out there who are sapiosexuals. If a potential partner is thrown off by your intelligence, that’s his problem to deal with. He is the one at a loss. Your intelligence is your biggest asset, woe unto the man who fails to notice this.

4. Beauty is not everything; it doesn’t count.

Beauty doesn’t determine dates. As you know, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. You might not think you are as beautiful as someone else, but you are beautiful to so many people out there. You might not be a model, but so are billions of others. You should not compare yourself to other people for this will only make you miserable.

5. Try or not try - the choice is yours.

You can put yourself out there. You can join online dating platforms; go out on blind dates or meetup groups. At the same time, you can decide to sit back and let nature and fate take its course. You should not pressure yourself about being in a relationship. It will naturally come at no cost. After all, the best things in life are free.

6. Be honest and don’t drag yourself.

Don’t be too hard on yourself about your dateable issues. It’s not a disease or a matter of life and death. Own up to your flaws without condemning yourself. Believe in your worth, and others will eventually see it.

7. Everything will turn out alright.

Don’t pressure yourself. You are perfectly okay. Everything will fall into place at the right time. There is someone out there for you who will love and appreciate you for who you are. Thinking that everything will be alright is the first step in convincing yourself that you are dateable. Remember, as a man thinketh, so he is. Having the right mindset will remarkably boost your confidence.
